RANCHI, India, Sept. 16 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Aug. 18:

1. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs :-

"(a) for direction upon the respondents specially to the respondent no.4 to adhere and comply the provisions of section 14A of the Jharkahand Bhoodan Yagna Act in letter and spirit by preventing the Pradhan of Pradhani Village Jabardaha, from ejecting the legal heirs (Petitioner) of original grantee (Ganesh Marandi) of their Bhoodan Land i.e., plot no. 790 Comprising of an area 3.50 Acres Bounded as;- North- Road, South- Plot/House of Mono Soren, EastPlot/house of Bagan Murmu, West-Dhano Murmu.

(b) further to direct the respondents to put in possession the petitioner i.e., the legal heir of original Grantee (Ganesh Marandi) if found dispossessed from the Bhoodan Land or part thereof due to the mischievous act of the Pradhan of Pradhani Village Jabardaha i.e., plot no. 790 Comprising of an area 3.50 Acres Bounded as;- North- Road, South- Plot/House of Mono Soren, EastPlot/hose of Bagan Murmu, West-Dhano Murmu."

2. Although there is a private respondent, but in view of the prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner, there is no need for issuance of notice.

3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that Bhoodan Case No.01 of 2021-22 has been filed under Section 14A of the Jharkhand Bhoodan Act, which is still pending before the respondent No.4. Only prayer has been made for early disposal of the aforesaid case.

4. Learned counsel for the State has no objection.

5. In view of the limited prayer, the present writ petition is, hereby, disposed of directing the respondent concerned to dispose of the pending proceeding after giving due opportunity to the affected parties, in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. With above observation and direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Pending interlocutory application, if any, stands also disposed of.
