RANCHI, India, Nov. 4 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 6:
1. Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 130/2025 arising out of Shyamsundarpur P.S. Case No. 20/2024 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 233/2024, for the offences registered under Section 105 of the B.N.S. 2023, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Ghatshila.
3. On 30.09.2024 at about 2:00 P.M., there was scuffle between petitioner and husband of the informant. It is alleged that petitioner picked up a log which was lying nearby and gave a log blow on the husband of the informant, due to which he sustained injuries. Later on, he succumbed to it.
4. It was submitted that offence alleged is registered under Section 105 of the B.N.S. 2023. It was further submitted that occurrence was not premeditated and it took place on the spur of moment.
5. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Ghatshila in connection with S.T. Case No. 130/2025 arising out of Shyamsundarpur P.S. Case No. 20/2024 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 233/2024.
