JHARKHAND HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON BRINCHI V/S THE STATE OF JHARKHAND AND ORS.

RANCHI, India, June 4 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 4:

1. 1. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

2. By adopting the reasoning in our order dated 28.04.2026 disposing of W.P (C) No. 2610 of 2026 (M/s Shiv Jyoti Stone Minerals versus The State of Jharkhand and others), we dismiss this petition. In M/s Shiv Jyoti Stone Minerals (Supra), we have held that the authorities dealing with applications under Rule 23(1) of the Jharkhand Mineral Concession Rules, 2004 have no power for condonation of delay in filing applications for renewal.

3. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed without any order for costs.
