RANCHI, India, June 10 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 13:

1. Heard the parties.

2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Telco P.S. Case No. 127 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 389 of 2025 for the offences registered under sections 103 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and section 27 of Arms Act, pending in the court of Mr. A. Aquib, learned Judicial Magistrate, East Singhbhum at Jamshedpur.

3. On 16.11.2024 between 10.00 a.m. to 12.45 noon, father of the Informant Sunil Singh was shot dead by unknown persons near C2 Talab, Telco, Jamshedpur.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the only allegation against the petitioner he keeps watch on the father of the Informant. It was further submitted that there is no allegation of overt act against him.

5. Mr. Shree Prakash Jha, learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts.

6. In view of the submission made above, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Mr. A. Aquib, learned Judicial Magistrate, East Singhbhum at Jamshedpur or his successor court in connection with Telco P.S. Case No. 127 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 389 of 2025.
