RANCHI, India, Feb. 14 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 13:

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner named above has been made accused in connection with Palajori P.S. Case No. 54 of 2024 (G.R. No. 50 of 2025) for the offence registered under Section 303(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Madhupur.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no eye witness to the incidence and the petitioner has been implicated only on the basis of criminal antecedent and confessional statement of the coaccused.

Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Court below.
