RANCHI, India, Nov. 22 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 22:

1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jamtara Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 23/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 111(2)(ii), 317(2), 317(4), 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2) & 3(5) of the B.N.S. 2023 and Sections 66(B)(C)(D) of the I.T. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, Cyber Crime, Jamtara.

3. On 20.03.2025, Cyber Police, Jamtara, on the basis of confidential information that cyber criminals have assembled near village Narayanpur, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended this petitioner alongwith co-accused persons. On search, three mobile phones were recovered from possession of this petitioner.

4. It was submitted that petitioner is alleged to have duped a victim namely Dipali Singh. However, parties have compromised their case and petitioner has returned the amount which was duped from the victim.

5. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Cyber Crime, Jamtara in connection with Jamtara Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 23/2025.
