RANCHI, India, Aug. 8 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on July 9:

1. The instant writ petition has been filed for compensation to the petitioners for the raiyati land measuring an area of 45 decimals which has been acquired showing it to be Gairmazarua land under Bharatmala Project without giving compensation to the petitioners.

2. A representation in this regard was filed by the petitioners before the Deputy Commissioner, Ramgarh on 10.11.2023, but no final order has been passed by him. The petitioners have also filed the representation before the District Land Acquisition Officer, Ramgarh on 20.02.2021.

3. In view of the fact that the petitioners have already filed representation before the District Land Acquisition Officer, Ramgarh on 20.02.2021 and the same has not been disposed of as yet, as per averment made on behalf of the petitioners, respondent No.4-District Land Acquisition Officer, Ramgarh is directed to dispose of the representation filed by the petitioners within twelve weeks from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order. Petitioners will appear before the office of District Land Acquisition Officer, Ramgarh on 16.07.2025 with necessary particulars of the land in question.

This writ petition stands disposed of. Pending, I.A., if any, also stands disposed of.
