JHARKHAND HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON ASHFAR IBRAHIM V/S THE STATE OF JHARKHANDA AND ANR.

RANCHI, India, May 1 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on March 30:

1. This case has been listed under the heading for Orders as there are defects.

2. This case was filed on 14.05.2024 with defects.

3. The matter was listed before the Lawazima Board on 13.09.2024. No one appeared on behalf of the petitioner on that date inspite of that time was granted to remove the defects. As the defects were not removed, again the matter was listed before the Lawazima Board on 10.09.2025. Again, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Then also time was granted by the Lawazima Board inspite of the fact that no one appeared.

4. The petitioner did not even choose to remove the defects thereafter, thus this case was listed before the Bench on 12th November, 2025, when on the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, one week time was granted to remove the defects.

5. Petitioner thereafter also did not remove the defects.

6. Today, when the matter is called out, no one appears on behalf of the petitioner.

7. Thus, the instant writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
