RANCHI, India, Dec. 31 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Dec. 1:

1. Both these bail applications arise out of the same police case. Accordingly, both these cases are being disposed of by a common order.

2. Heard the parties.

3. Petitioners have been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 237 of 2025 arising out of Azad Nagar P.S. Case No. 24 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 735 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 126(2), 127(2), 115(2), 118(1), 118(2), 352, 109, 61(2) & 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 subsequently charge-sheet has been submitted under Sections 103(1) & 61(2) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-I, Jamshedpur.

4. During the intervening period of 27/28.03.2025, informant came to know that his son was lying in injured condition lying near Old Purulia Road No. 20, Azad Marriage Hall, Azadnagar, Jamshedpur. During the course of investigation, one of the eye witnesses has stated that there was some altercation over stealing of I-phone between the petitioners and co-accused persons. The son of the informant was alleging that the accused persons had stolen his I-phone. It appears that co-accused Shawaz Ansari gave knife blow to the son of the informant due to which he succumbed to his injuries.

5. It was submitted that as far as allegation against these petitioners is concerned, there is no allegation of assault against them. It was further submitted that only allegation against the petitioners is that they were quarreling with the main assailant.

6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-I, Jamshedpur in connection with S.T. Case No. 237 of 2025 arising out of Azad Nagar P.S. Case No. 24 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 735 of 2025.
