RANCHI, India, Sept. 28 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Aug. 28:

I.A. No. 2142 of 2025

1) For the reasons stated in the application duly supported by the affidavit of the appellant, we find sufficient cause to condone the delay of 146 days' that has crept up in filing the appeal.

2) Accordingly, the delay in filing the appeal is condoned and I.A. No. 2142 of 2025 stands disposed of.

L.P.A. No. 116 of 2025

3) Learned counsel for the appellant states that he may be permitted to withdraw this appeal in view of the information now imparted under the Right To Information Act after the passing of the order by the writ court and permitted to file a review petition given the fact that the specific finding rendered by the learned writ court for dismissing the petition was that there is no vacancy whereas in the information now supplied vide communication dated 07.12.2024 goes to indicate that as many as ten posts of forest guards are vacant.

4) The prayer being innocuous is allowed consequently, this appeal is disposed of with liberty as aforesaid.

5) Interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of.
