RANCHI, India, June 24 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 27:

1. The petitioner is accused for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has not committed any offence as alleged. Initially the F.I.R. was lodged against 6 to 7 unknown criminals. In course of investigation, the petitioner has been implicated on the basis of the alleged confessional statement of coaccused Rahul Kumar Pandey. The said co-accused has already been granted regular bail by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 14.05.2024 passed in B.A.No. 2329 of 2024. Other co-accused persons, namely, Ranjeet Kumar Mehta, Roshan Kumar Yadav, Ajay Kumar Pandey @ Ajay Pandey @ Kallu Pandey and Kurban Ansari @ Qurban Ansari have also been granted regular bail in connection with the present case by different Benches of this Court. The petitioner is in judicial custody in this case since 25.03.2025. Hence, he may be given the privilege of regular bail.

3. Learned A.P.P. opposes the petitioner's prayer for regular bail.

4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the material available on record, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

5. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Koderma in connection with Domchanch P.S. Case No. 02 of 2024.
