RANCHI, India, Nov. 19 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 29:

1. Both these bail applications arise out of the same police case. Accordingly, both these cases are being disposed of by a common order.

2. Heard the parties.

3. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with POCSO Case No. 14/2025 arising out of Palkot P.S. Case No. 11/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 96 and 70(2) of the B.N.S. 2023 and Sections 4 & 6 of the POCSO Act, pending in the Court of learned Exclusive Special Judge POCSO Court-cumAdditional Sessions Judge-IV, Gumla.

4. On 16.02.2025, daughter of the informant went missing. During the course of investigation, she was recovered and she implicated these petitioners and co-accused persons alleging that they had raped her.

5. Attention has been drawn towards the statement of victim recorded during the trial, in which she has not supported the prosecution case as such, she has been declared hostile. She has also not identified the accused persons.

6. It appears that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier.

7. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each, with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge POCSO Court-cum-Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Gumla, in connection with POCSO Case No. 14/2025 arising out of Palkot P.S. Case No. 11/2025
