RANCHI, India, Jan. 27 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 5:

Heard Md. Yasir Arafat, learned counsel for the appellant and learned P.P. for the State.

This appeal is directed against the order dated 01.12.2025 passed in B.P. No. 343 of 2025, arising out of Barharwa Rail P.S. Case No. 31/2025, by the learned Sessions Judge, Sahibganj, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

It has been alleged that two boys were recovered from Barharwa Railway Station and the appellant and another accused were apprehended on the allegation that they were involved in human trafficking.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant that both the victims have been recovered. It has further been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 07.10.2025 and one of the co-accused similarly situated has been granted bail in Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 1563 of 2025.

Learned P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.

Regard being had to the fact that one of the similarly situated co-accused having been granted bail by us as noted above, we while setting aside the order dated 01.12.2025 passed in B.P. No. 343 of 2025, arising out of Barharwa Rail P.S. Case No. 31/2025, by the learned Sessions Judge, Sahibganj, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Railway Judicial Magistrate, Sahibganj in connection with Barharwa Rail P.S. Case No. 31/2025.

This appeal stands allowed.
