RANCHI, India, Jan. 27 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 5:

Heard Mr. Naveen Kr. Jaiswal, learned counsel for the appellant and learned A.P.P. for the State.

This appeal is directed against the order dated 26.11.2025 passed in B.P. No. 1440/2025, arising out of AHTU P.S. Case No. 11/2025, by the learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XII, Ranchi, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

On an information a raid was conducted by the Police at Ranchi Railway Station and three minor boys along with the appellant were apprehended.

Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the main accused is Ayush Asur who as per the statement of the recovered children had come to their house and had allured them to go to Agartalla to work in a brick-kiln. It has been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 13.10.2025.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.

On consideration of the fact that it was Ayush Asur who appears to be the main person involved in human trafficking of the children, we while setting aside the order dated 26.11.2025 passed in B.P. No. 1440/2025, arising out of AHTU P.S. Case No. 11/2025, by the learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XII, Ranchi, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi in connection with AHTU P.S. Case No. 11/2025.

This appeal stands allowed.
