RANCHI, India, Jan. 27 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 5:

Heard Mrs. J. Mazumdar, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and the learned Special P.P. appearing for the State.

This appeal is directed against the order dated 11.11.2025 passed in A. B. P. No. 2808 of 2025 arising out of Mahuda P. S. Case no. 69 of 2025 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge XI, Dhanbad whereby and whereunder the prayer for anticipatory bail of the appellant has been rejected.

It has been alleged that on a raid conducted by the police it was found that the accused persons who were present are running a mini gun factory.

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that though the appellant is named in the FIR, but his name has transpired on the disclosure of Md. Murshid Ansari. She further submits that the appellant does not have any criminal antecedent.

Learned Special P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the appellant.

It appears that the appellant was one of the persons who was involved in sell of countrymade pistols and this fact has come in the disclosure made by Md. Murshid Ansari. It also appears that several incriminating articles pointing to running of a mini gun factory had been recovered from the house of Md. Murshid Ansari.

Regard being had to the above, we are not inclined to interfere with the impugned order dated 11.11.2025 passed in A. B. P. No. 2808 of 2025 arising out of Mahuda P. S. Case no. 69 of 2025 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge XI, Dhanbad and consequently we dismiss this appeal.
