RANCHI, India, Aug. 6 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on July 9:

1. Mrs. Nisha Pandey, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant has sought for leave of this Court to accept the supplementary affidavit dated 09.07.2025 which has been filed in pursuance to the order dated 10.06.2025.

2. Leave, as prayed for, is granted.

3. Let the said affidavit be taken on record.

4. It is evident from the said supplementary affidavit that the parties have settled their disputes by virtue of the settlement arrived at between them in 'Mediation'. The Mediation Report has been annexed as Annexure-1 to the said affidavit.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the appellant has also produced photo copy of the certified copy of the order dated 16.06.2025 passed in Original Suit No.310 of 2024 which has been filed by the appellanthusband under section 39(b) of the Guardian and Wards Act, 1890 before the Court of the learned Addl. Principal Judge, Addl. Family Court-I, Ranchi.

6. Let it be taken on record.

7. The learned counsel has further submitted by placing the said order that the parties since are settled their disputes and they have no grievance against each other in terms of the settlement arrived at between them in course of the 'Mediation' and the proceeding being Original Suit No.310 of 2024 has been disposed of in terms of the said settlement.

8. In view of the above, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant has submitted that she does not want to press the instant appeal.

9. Accordingly, the instant appeal is dismissed as not pressed and disposed of as such.
