NAINITAL, India, July 9 -- Uttarakhand High Court issued the following order on June 18:

1. Mr. Mukesh Singh Rawat, learned counsel for the applicant.
2. Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned A.G.A. for the State.
3. Put up this matter on 06.07.2026.
4. In the meantime, the CMO concerned may constitute a Medical Board to examine the medical status of the victim, who is at present at Nari Niketan, Haldwani. The Medical Board shall examine to ascertain the age of the victim as well as her mental status.
5. Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned A.G.A. shall communicate this order to the concerned CMO so that the concerned CMO may constitute a team within three days to proceed with the medical examination, for which the Superintendent of Nari Niketan, Haldwani, shall give full assistance.
6. In addition to this, the parents of the present applicant may also file an affidavit giving an undertaking that they are ready to accept the victim as their daughter-in-law, to whom the present applicant was in love and she became pregnant and also gave birth to a child in Nari Niketan, who is only one month old, as intimated by the Superintendent of Nari Niketan.
7. Copy of this order be given today itself to Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned A.G.A. for necessary compliance.
