[1] Heard Mr. A. Gautam Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner.

[2] By the present petition, the petitioner prays for a direction to the respondents to consider retrospective promotion to the post of Assistant Computer Programmer (ACP) in the Office of Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur as his promotion was denied earlier.

[3] Issue notice.

[4] Mr. Th. Vashum, learned GA accepts notice on behalf of respondent nos. 1 & 2 and Mr. S. Jasobanta, learned counsel on behalf of respondent no. 3. Hence, service is complete on the respondents.

[5] The learned counsel for the respondents prays for 3(three) weeks' time for filing counter affidavit.

[6] List this case before the appropriate roster bench on 24.08.2026.
