GAUHATI HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON SIRAJUL HOQUE V/S THE STATE OF ASSAM

GUWAHATI, India, Nov. 25 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on Oct. 27:

Heard Mr. K. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the petitioner.

It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that charge-sheet has already been submitted vide CS No. 226/2025 dated 29.05.2025.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court and apply for regular bail.

In view of the above, the anticipatory bail application stands disposed of by directing the petitioner to appear before the trial Court by the next date fixed and apply for regular bail if so advised. In such event, the same shall be considered and disposed of as per law.

Till that date, the interim pre-arrest bail granted to the petitioner shall remain in force.
