GUWAHATI, India, Aug. 19 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on July 19:

Heard Mr. F.U. Barbhuiya, larned counsel for the petitioners, who submits that by filing this writ petition, the petitioners have challenged the order dated 05.04.2024 passed by the Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education, by which the claim of the petitioners for appointment as L.P School Teacher/Tutor/regularization of service by exempting Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) qualification has been rejected.

Issue notice of motion, returnable by 04(four) weeks.

Ms. N. Phukan, learned Standing Counsel, Department of School Education, Assam accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos. 1, 2 & 3 and Mr. P. Naik, learned Standing Counsel, SSA accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.4.

Notice is therefore complete.

Petitioners to furnish requisite copies of the writ petition to the learned counsel appearing for the respondents within three days.

List again after 04(four) weeks along with WP(C) No.5005/2024.
