GUWAHATI, India, April 7 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on March 5:

1. Heard Mr. M. Saikia, learned counsel for the applicaant.

2. This interlocutory application has been filed seeking impleadment of the opposite party No.13 namely the Accountant General, Assam, Maidam Gaon, Beltola, Guwahati-781029 as a party respondent in the accompanying WP(C) No.6376/2025. 3. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that since the writ petition has been filed seeking proportionate share of pension for the services rendered by her deceased husband, the Office of the Accountant General, Assam will be necessary party as the effective orders will also be required to be passed by the Department. He submits that due to oversight the Office of the Accountant General could not arrayed as party respondent and therefore, this interlocutory has been filed seeking impleadment.

3. Ms. M. Bhattacharyaa, learned Addl. Senior Advocate General appears for the State respondents and Mr. P. Saikia, learned appears for the respondents No.12.

4. The learned counsel for the respondents do not object to the prayer made.

5. Considering the submissions made, this Court is of the view that this interlocutory application can be allowed at this stage without issuing notice, as the Office of the Accountant General will have adequate opportunity to file their response in the connected writ petition. Accordingly, this interlocutory application stands allowed. The Office of the Accountant General, Assam Maidam Gaon, Beltola, Guwahati-781029 is arrayed as party respondent No.13.

6. The petitioner will file amended cause title in the writ petition within one week from today.

7. This interlocutory application accordingly, stands allowed and disposed of
