GUWAHATI, India, Dec. 8 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on Nov. 7:

Heard Mr. M. U. Mondal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. D. Musahari, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 4; Ms. S. Baruah, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 3.

None appears for the respondent Nos. 6 and 7 on call, despite the names of the learned counsels, i.e., Mr. H. Rahman and Mr. R. Sarma being reflected in the cause list.

Ms. D. Musahari, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 4, seeks 3 (three) weeks time to file return in the matter.

It is pertinent that on 03.11.2025 after this court noticing that the fresh steps have not been taken against the respondent No. 5 as directed by this court earlier on 23.07.2025, on the ground that the learned counsel for the respondent No. 6 can also appear for the respondent No. 5 as well as the said respondent is none other than the school management and development committee itself, posted the matter today, since on that date also there was no representation on behalf of the respondent Nos. 6 and 7.

As such, re-list the matter again on 26.11.2025.

Let Registry intimate the listing of the instant matter to Mr. H. Rahman and Mr. R. Sarma, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 6 and 7 via whats app or any other admissible mode of communication.

In the meantime, let the instructions/returns be filed on behalf of the concerned Education Department.

Re-list accordingly.
