GAUHATI HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER FOR BIRAJ SARMAH DHITAL V/S KIRAN THAPA

GUWAHATI, India, July 29 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on June 30:

1. Heard learned counsel Mr. B. Konwar for the petitioner Biraj Sarmah Dhital @ Biraj Sharma Dhital, who has submitted on behalf of the petitioner that notices have been issued to the respondent but the notices were returned with remark 'addressee could not be located'.

2. Seen the report marked as flag 'X'.

3. Office note also reflects the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner. It is submitted that the case being Complaint Case No. 1237/2019 is fixed for final argument before the Court of JMFC-4, Kamrup (M), as the matter is of urgent nature and as the case will be disposed of after final argument on 08.07.2025.

4. Further proceeding of Complaint Case No. 1237/2019 pending before the learned JMFC-4, Kamrup (M) be stayed till 31.07.2025.

5. Meanwhile, the petitioner to take steps to issue notice to respondent routed through dasti service.

6. Call for the Trial Court Record.

7. List this matter on 31.07.2025.
