GAUHATI HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER FOR ABDUL MOZID AND ANR V/S THE STATE OF ASSAM AND 7 ORS

GUWAHATI, India, Sept. 28 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on Aug. 28:

Heard the learned counsel for the parties at length.

During the course of hearing, Mr. P. Bora, learned Senior Counsel, appearing for the Jaleswar Anchalik Panchayat, who has sought impleadment in WP(C).No.3389/2025, has submitted that a fresh writ petition has been filed by the Jaleswar Anchalik Panchayat, presenting a challenge to the order dated 30.05.2025, which is also under challenge in WP(C).No.3389/2025.

As agreed to by the learned counsel for the parties, Registry to list WP(C).No.3389/2025 and WP(C).No.237/2025 along with WP(C) (filing).No.11214/2025, on the date the same is listed for motion hearing.

Interim order, passed earlier, to continue till the next date of listing.
