From Financial Constraints to Educational Confidence: How Scholarship Support Helped Bhaskar Saini Continue His B.Tech. Education

Access to quality education can play an important role in helping students pursue their aspirations and build better opportunities for the future. However, for students from families with limited incomes, financial difficulties can become a major challenge in meeting college expenses and continuing higher education.

Demonstrating how scholarship assistance can provide relief to students facing economic challenges, Mr Bhaskar Saini, a 19-year-old student belonging to the Other Backward Class (OBC) category, is pursuing B.Tech. education in Mechanical Engineering. Coming from a middle-class family, he faced difficulties in managing the expenses related to education, including books, hostel and other academic requirements. Despite these challenges, Bhaskar remained focused on his studies and skill development, with the aspiration of securing a good job and improving his family's financial condition through higher education and technical knowledge.

In 2025-26, educational financial assistance of Rs.1,15,400 was provided to Bhaskar. The support helped reduce the financial burden on his family and enabled him to continue his engineering education without interruption. It also allowed him to focus more on his academics and career preparation.

With the financial burden related to his education reduced, Bhaskar has been able to continue his B.Tech. studies with greater confidence. He is currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering and improving his technical skills to prepare himself for future employment opportunities.

Talking about the support generated by the scholarship, Bhaskar Saini said,

"I received financial assistance for my educational expenses, which reduced the financial burden on my family. This support helped me continue my studies without interruption and focus more on academics and career preparation. Currently, I am successfully pursuing my engineering studies and improving my technical skills for future employment opportunities."
