The last dates for participation in various competitions organized by the Union Ministry of Rural Development with the aim of increasing public awareness about " Vikasit Bharat - Guarantee for Employment and Livelihood Mission (Gramin): VB-G Ram Ji (Vikasit Bharat-G Ram Ji) Act , 2025" and to ensure creative participation of youth and citizens have been extended by 15 days.

This decision has been taken by the Ministry with the aim of providing more time to the youth , students , volunteers and common citizens and to ensure maximum participation from across the country. Through the Logo Design Competition organized on MyGov portal and the National Reel/Video Challenge ( " 60 Seconds for My Village") organized on MY Bharat portal and Vikasit Bharat-Ji Ram Ji Quiz Competition, participants can present their creative ideas , digital expressions and knowledge on topics related to rural development , employment generation and livelihood promotion at the national level.

The last date for submission of entries in the Logo Design Contest , which was earlier scheduled for March 20, 2026 , has been extended to April 4, 2026. Similarly, the last date for participation in the National Reel/Video Challenge , which was March 21 , 2026 , has been extended to April 5 , 2026. The last date for the Vikasit Bharat-Ji Ram Ji Quiz Competition , which was earlier scheduled for March 23, 2026 , has now been extended to April 7 , 2026 .

These competitions provide participants with an opportunity to creatively and cognitively understand and present the objectives and provisions of the " Developed India - Shri Ram Ji Act , 2025" and topics related to expanding employment and livelihood opportunities in rural areas. This initiative empowers the spirit of " Youth Power , Panchayat ki Pragati " by connecting youth with the development of their villages and is proving helpful in transforming the vision of Developed India @2047 into a mass movement .

The Developing India - Ji Ram Ji Act , 2025 marks a significant shift in rural employment policy. The Act increases the statutory guarantee of wage employment for rural households from 100 days to 125 days per financial year. It also promotes empowerment , inclusive growth , and service delivery through convergence and saturation of schemes. This initiative is a significant step towards building a prosperous , capable, and self-reliant rural India by expanding livelihood opportunities in rural areas.

The Union Ministry of Rural Development has called upon the youth and citizens to participate enthusiastically in these competitions , so that through collective participation, the resolve for a developed India can be given new energy.
