The scheme is demand driven. Applications under the scheme are invited online against Expression of Interest (EoI) issued by Ministry from time to time subject to availability of funds and fulfilment of criteria of the applicable CEFPPC scheme guidelines. Funds under the Head Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan (SCSP), Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) and North Eastern Region (NER) are allocated as per fixed percentage of the Annual Gross Budgetary Support (GBS). During the period 2019-2020 to 2022-2023 under SCSP, TSP and NER categories of the CEFPPC Scheme, underutilization of funds was due to lack of sufficient number of eligible projects for releasing of funds.
