AMARAVATI, India, Feb. 22 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Jan. 21:
1. This contempt case is filed for willful disobedience of the orders dated 10.06.2021 passed in W.P.No.10945 of 2021.
2. This Court on 25.08.2021 passed the following order:
"As per the directions of this court, dated 23.08.2021 the respondent/contemnor appeared and filed compliance report along with Certificate of transfer of charge. According to the said certificate, the contemnor has handed over the charge of temple to the petitioner on 23.08.2021. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner requested time to get instructions with regard to the same. On perusal of the compliance report and the transfer of charge certificate, the appearance of respondent/contemnor is dispensed with.
Meanwhile, the contemnor is directed to file an affidavit with regard to the delay in compliance of the court orders."
3. On perusal of the above orders passed by this Court on 25.08.2021, it is evident that though the respondents have complied with the orders of this Court, due to some latches on their part and the same was taken into consideration and adjourned the matter for filing of an affidavit showing cause for the delay occurred for compliance of court orders. However, since compliance report has been filed implementing the orders passed by this Court, this Court is inclined to close the contempt case.
4. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed. No costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
