AMARAVATI, India, May 1 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on March 31:
1. The present contempt case is filed challenging the non-implementation of the interim order dated 28.12.2018 in W.P.No.46963 of 2018.
2. None appeared for the petitioner. Heard Sri G.Sai Narayana Rao, learned counsel for the respondents.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that pending the contempt case, the writ petition itself was dismissed as infructuous. In view of dismissal of the writ petition vide order dated 19.10.2024, the interim orders passed cannot be implemented, after lapse of more than seven years.
4. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs.
Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the contempt case shall stand closed.
