ANDHRA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON SUNIL KUMAR REDDY V/S MR. O. ANAND, I A S

AMARAVATI, India, Feb. 25 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Jan. 23:

1. Heard Sri K. Gunasekhar, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Sri L. Sai Manoj Reddy, learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Smt. Sushma Yaganti, learned Counsel for the Respondent.

2. Smt. Sushma Yaganti, learned Counsel for the Respondent, has passed across the table the Proceeding of the Collector & District Magistrate, Ananthapuramu bearing Rc.No.E5/4712/2025 dated 27.12.2025, which indicates that the subject property has been deleted from the Prohibited Properties List under Section 22A of the Registration Act.

3. Having noted the same, this Court is of the view that the grievance of the Petitioner has been redressed. Accordingly, the present Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs.

4. Interlocutory Applications, if any, stand closed in terms of this order.
