ANDHRA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON SOMISETTY GIRINATH AND ORS. V/S BHOMIREDDY KUNTOLLA CHALAMAIAHGARI CHENNAMMA AND ANR.

AMARAVATI, India, March 1 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Jan. 29:

1. On 17.06.2025, the following order was passed: "It was informed at the Bar that the learned counsel appearing for both sides have expired. Accordingly, issue notice to the parties of both sides."

2. Notice was served to both the sides so as to engage a counsel and their names also shown in the cause list. Sri B.Sudhakar Kumar, learned counsel appears for the respondents 1 and 2. The appeal is of the year 2009 and is an old appeal.

3. The appeal is listed under the caption of 'old matters' and it is also mentioned in the cause list that the old matters may not be adjourned.

4. The appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, all pending applications shall stand closed.
