AMARAVATI, India, May 18 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on April 16:

1. The present Contempt Case is filed for non-compliance of the Order passed by this Court, dated 26.11.2025 in W.P.No.27261 of 2024, wherein this Court had directed the Respondents to extend minimum time scale to the Petitioner and also to consider the case of the Petitioner for regularization/appointment in a full time regular post. The operative portion of the order passed in W.P.No.27261 of 2024 is extracted below:-

"11. In that view, the writ petition is disposed of with following directions:

(i) The Respondents are directed to extend Minimum Time Scale to the Petitioner forthwith.

(ii) The Respondents shall further consider the case of the Petitioner for regularization/appointment in Full Time Regular Post.

(iii) This exercise shall be completed within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(iv) No order as to costs."

2. Today, Respondent No.2 is present before this Court and learned counsel for the Respondents submitted that the orders passed by this Court were complied with vide Memo No.3090229/Prog.II/A1/2025, dated 15.04.2026, extending the minimum time scale to the Petitioner, but had rejected the claim of the Petitioner for regularization.

3. On enquiry by this Court with regard to the minimum time scale being paid to the Petitioner, learned counsel for the Respondents submitted that Petitioner would be paid Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only).

4. In that view, as the orders passed by this Court in the W.P.No.27261 of 2024 were complied with, the Contempt Case is closed. The Petitioner is given liberty to challenge the rejection of her claim with regard to regularization by filing an independent Writ Petition.

5. No order as to costs.

6. As a sequel, pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
