AMARAVATI, India, March 24 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Feb. 20:

1. The contempt case has been filed for non-compliance with the Order W.P.M.P.No.39703 of 2016 in W.P.No.32112 of 2016 dated 21.09.2016.

2. No representation for the Petitioner.

3. When the matter was taken up, Mr. V. Sai Kumar, learned counsel for the Respondents submits that the Respondents have been complied the orders of this Court dated 21.09.2016 passed in W.P.M.P.No.39703 of 2016. Consequent to the same, the Petitioner herself addressed a letter, dated 22.06.2022 to the Respondent No.1 expressing her willingness to withdraw the instant Contempt Case. To substantiate the same, the learned Standing Counsel for the Respondent No.2 pointed out the averment made in the Counter-Affidavit, as well as letter, dated 22.06.2022 addressed by the Petitioner to the Respondent No.1/ University Authorities.

4. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the main Writ Petition is itself allowed on 07.12.2016 and subsequently, the order of this Court was complied with.

5. In view of the fact that there is no representation for the Petitioner and also taking into consideration of submissions made by leaned counsel for the Respondents, as well as letter, dated 22.06.2022 by the Petitioner, the instant Contempt Case is closed.

As a sequel, all pending applications shall stand closed.
