AMARAVATI, India, March 2 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Jan. 30:
1. This Contempt Case is filed against the respondent complaining willful disobedience of the order, dated 27.02.2007 passed by this Court in W.P.No.11934 of 2004, wherein the Division Bench of this Court while allowing the said writ petition holds that the market value, which has to be paid by the petitioners herein shall be Rs.1,71,064.80/- and the petitioners shall make deposit of the said amount within a period of two months from that day.
2. Heard Mujtahid Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioners and Smt Kotharu Vijayeswari, learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondent.
3. As per the petitioners, they had deposited the said amount within the time stipulated. On perusal of the order of this Court, it is clear that there is no direction to Respondent No.1 to comply the order of this Court. It is for the petitioners to comply the order by making such deposit. In view of the same, in our considered view, there is no contempt in this case.
4. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed.
5. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
