AMARAVATI, India, Feb. 10 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Jan. 9:
1. The instant petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha . Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the Petitioners / Accused Nos.2 and 3, seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No.297 of 2025 on the file of Proddatur II Town U/G Police Station, YSR Kadapa District, which is registered for the offences under Sections 65 (1), 351 (2) (3), 87, 126(2), 127 (2) and 115 (2) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 Section 5(1) read with 6 of POCSO Act and Section 3(2)(va)(r)(s) of SCs & STs (PoA) Act
2. Heard Sri Shaik Mohammed Ismail, learned 2. counsel for the Petitioners / Accused Nos,2 and 3 and Ms,K,Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for State / Respondent.
3. Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, of Accused No.1 and the victim had marriage broker / L.W.8. Petitioners herein are Accused Nos.2 and 3 in fact, the marriage taken place on 24.04.2025 through a Learned counsel would further submit that the Accused No.2 is the sister of Accused No.1 and A.3 is the husband of Accused No.2. It is further submitted that, Accused No.1, after coming to know about the fraud played by the father of the victim girl in connivance with her maternal aunt, lodged on 22.07.2025 and the same a case against them was registered as a case in Crime No. 120 of 2025 on the file of Badvel Rural Police Station, YSR Kadapa District for the offence under Section 318(4) read with 3(5) of BNS.
