AMARAVATI, India, March 24 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Feb. 20:

1. This Contempt Case is filed for willful violation of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.3901 of 2025 on 24.02.2025, wherein this Court passed the following order: "...directing the respondents to release total amount of Rs.5,40,108/- to the Petitioner within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs."

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Counsel representing 2nd contemnor Mr. Srikanth Reddy has furnished the copy of letter addressed by the Principal Secretary to the Government vide letter No.CC.Nos.1795, 1939 & 1940 of 2025 dated 20.02.2026 wherein it is disclosed that an amount of Rs.7,15,198/- was cleared on 20.02.2026 i.e. today vide Bill No.2025-2435620. Thus the order dated 24.02.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.No.3901 of 2025 has been complied-with by the respondents. Therefore, requested this Court to close the contempt case.

3. Recording the above submission, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
