AMARAVATI, India, March 18 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on March 12:

1. The above contempt case was filed complaining of the violation of the order dated 11.02.2025, passed in W.P.No.2005 of 2025.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for both sides.

3. The writ petition was disposed of on 11.02.2025, directing the respondent No.2, Commissioner and Director of Mines and Geology, to consider the petitioners' representation dated 01.01.2025 and pass appropriate orders, strictly as per the Rules.

4. The contempt case was filed on 11.03.2025. In the affidavit filed in support of the contempt case, it was pleaded that the respondents have violated the order dated 11.02.2025, passed in W.P.No.2005 of 2025.

5. A memo was filed by respondent No.5 vide U.S.R.No.17121 of 2026, dated 11.02.2026. Along with the said memo, the letter addressed by the Director of Mines & Geology vide Letter No.29250/E-VG/1985, dated 30.10.2025, was annexed. As seen from the letter, the Director of Mines & Geology addressed a letter to the Principal Secretary (Mines), Industries & Commerce Department, requesting dropping of charges.

6. Sri Ramalingeswara Rao Kocherla Kota, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, would submit that the report is pending before the Government for consideration.

7. Given the facts and circumstances of the case and as this Court does not find any violation of the order dated 11.02.2025, passed in W.P.No.2005 of 2025, the Contempt Case is dismissed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
