AMARAVATI, India, March 1 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Jan. 29:
1. On 24.03.2025, the following order was passed:-
"Learned counsel for the appellants prays for time to obtain instructions, as the matter has been listed after long time.
2. Post the matter after two (02) weeks, in the Weekly Cause List."
2. On 16.04.2025, the following order was passed:- "1. Sri Sravan, learned counsel represented learned counsel for the appellant through virtual mode and prays for time to get instructions pursuant to the previous order dated 24.03.2025.
2. Post the matter after three (03) weeks in the weekly cause list."
3. The matter has been listed today. Sri M. Veerendranath, learned counsel appearing for the appellants' counsel submits that he is not able to obtain instructions and seeks adjournment.
4. We do not find any sufficient reason to adjourn the old matter, particularly, when twice opportunity was granted on the request.
5. Learned counsel fails to argue the matter.
6. The appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution.
7. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, all pending applications shall stand closed.
