AMARAVATI, India, March 1 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Jan. 29:
1. This contempt case is filed against the respondents for willful disobedience of the orders dated 13.04.2016 passed by this Court in I.A.No.2 of 2016 W.P.No.730 of 2016.
2. Since the learned counsel for the petitioner is not representing the matter, this Court directed the Registry to issue notice to the petitioner. Accordingly, notice is served on the petitioner. But even after receipt of notice, the petitioner neither appeared in person nor made any alternative arrangement to represent the matter.
3. No representation on behalf of the petitioner. Heard Sri K.Raghu babu, learned counsel for the respondent No.2.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the writ petition itself is dismissed. Therefore, no contempt case can be enforced.
5. In view of the dismissal of the writ petition itself, no further orders are required to be passed in the contempt case and the contempt case is not maintainable or enforceable.
6. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed. No costs.
