AMARAVATI, India, Feb. 17 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Jan. 16:
This Court, by order dated 08.12.2026, recorded the submissions made by learned Assistant Government Pleader attached to the office of the learned Advocate General appearing for the respondents that the detenu has been let off and the matter got adjourned to today for getting instructions on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioner.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the detenu has been released on 08.01.2026 at 2:00 P.M.
In the circumstances, nothing survives to be adjudicated in the Writ Petition and accordingly, the same is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
