AMARAVATI, India, May 1 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on March 31:

1. The contempt case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent for willful violation of the order dated 06.02.2015 of this Court passed in W.P. No. 2047 of 2015.

2. A copy of final order dated 18.07.2024 in W.P. No. 2047 of 2015 was placed on record.

3. No representation for the petitioner.

4. Ms. B. Sravani, representing the learned counsel for the respondent, requested to close the contempt case as the writ petition had been finally disposed.

5. In view of the final disposal of the main writ petition, the present contempt case is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
