ANDHRA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON DR. HARIKRISHNAPAKANTI V/S MR ADITHYANADH DAS AND ORS.

AMARAVATI, India, May 28 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on April 27:

1. Instant Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of interim order of this Court dated 05.07.2017 in WP.MP.No.27195 of 2017 in WP No.22095 of 2017.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner asserts that respondent authorities are willfully violating interim order of this Court dated 05.07.2017 in WP.MP.No.27195 of 2017 in WP No.22095 of 2017.

3. On the other hand, Sri Ramesh Babu Talluri, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2-University submits that in terms of Order of this Court dated 05.07.2017 in WP.MP.No.27195 of 2017 in WP No.22095 of 2017, the University did not initiate any action regarding notification for the academic year 2017-18 and as such, he also pressed that this Court to close the present Contempt Case.

4. Recording the submission made by learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2-University, this Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
