AMARAVATI, India, Feb. 22 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Jan. 20:

This appeal has been filed by the appellant/plaintiff being aggrieved from the dismissal of his suit filed for recovery of money vide judgment and decree dated 29.04.2005 passed in O.S.No.185 of 1997 on the file of the Senior Civil Judge, Nellore.

2. Sri P. Sandeep, learned counsel, appears for the appellant's counsel on record and submits that he has already given a no-objection vakalat to the appellant to engage another counsel. However, on verification of the record before us, no fresh vakalat engaging another counsel has been filed.

3. In view of the above, the Appeal Suit is dismissed "for want of prosecution".

No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
