AMARAVATI, India, March 1 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Jan. 29:

1. This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, for the willful disobedience of the orders dated 07.02.2024 passed in W.P.No.2442 of 2024.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents submitted that counter has been filed stating that on the F-line application of the petitioner, survey has been conducted and endorsement has been sent to the said effect. However, the same was refused by the petitioner to receive. In view of the same, delay has been occurred. Accordingly, prayed to close the contempt case.

3. Respondent/contemnors appeared before this Court and submitted that the said delay is neither willful nor wanton and tendered unconditional apology. 4. Taking their submissions into consideration, as the authorities have already complied the orders of this Court dated 07.02.2024, and having satisfied with the explanation for delay, this Court is inclined to dismiss the contempt case. 5. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
