AMARAVATI, India, March 8 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on Feb. 5:
1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr.S.Satish, learned counsel representing the respondents.
2. The present contempt case is filed alleging violation of the interim orders dated 01.2.2021 passed in Writ Petition No.2473 of 2021. Vide the said orders, this Court directed the respondents not to dispossess the petitioner / demolish the subject matter property without issuing any notice or following due process of law.
3. In the affidavit filed in support of the Contempt Case, the petitioner states that the respondents gave warning to the effect that they will take steps to demolish the structure, if the petitioner fails to vacate the same. Thus, there is neither dispossession of the petitioner nor demolition of his property, in the absence of which, it cannot be treated that the orders of this Court have been violated.
4. In that view of the matter, the Contempt Case is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
