The Department of Pharmaceuticals, under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers in association with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), is set to host the 9th PharmaMed 2026 on 27th March 2026 in New Delhi. The one-day conference will bring together key stakeholders from across the pharmaceutical ecosystem for a high-level dialogue on the future of India's pharma sector. It seeks to address critical priorities including quality assurance, regulatory harmonization, innovation, and equitable access to medicines
Centered around the theme 'Healthcare Equity: Reaching Every Citizen of Viksit Bharat,' 9th PharmaMed 2026 is a focused initiative aimed at fostering dialogue between policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders to strengthen India's pharmaceutical sector as it is transitioning from volume-driven to a value-driven global pharmaceutical hub. PharmaMed 2026 will feature a series of high-level sessions addressing key themes, including:
Notable speakers include Dr Vinod K Paul, Member, NITI Aayog; Shri Satyaprakash T. L., IAS, Joint Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India; Dr Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi, DCGI, CDSCO; Shri Gregory Smith, Country Director, India Office, US FDA.
