Abstract: A zygapophyseal fusion implant assembly (100) for spinal fixation, comprises a plurality of zygapophyseal connectors comprising at least one spherical hole and a plurality of slots on the alternate side of the plurality of zygapophyseal connectors, a plurality of spherical elements, wherein each of the spherical element from the plurality of the spherical elements is configured to be housed within the at least one spherical hole of each of the zygapophyseal connector, a plurality of spring elements, wherein each of the spring element is configured to engage a slot of each zygapophyseal connector with a slot of adjacent zygapophyseal connector thereby forming a chain series of the plurality of the zygapophyseal connectors.
