The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: This invention is a tool for mapping animal behaviour through creative cognitive works to determine the degree to which the animal actions described in a written fictional text relate to scientific animal behaviour. This tool, the Zoological-Fictional Reality Mapping (ZFRM), contributes to the fields of animal behaviour studies and digital humanities. This tool analyses and compares scientific accounts of animal behaviour with their fictional representations, constructing a literary ethogram that bridges literary studies and animal behaviour research. The tool has two methods. Method 1 has 3 processes through which the source action in the fictional work, which operates through 4 parameters, is mapped to the real scientific behaviour of the living animal. The mapping process is followed by method 2, where the fictional action sequence is matched with the real action sequence in the mapped behaviour to determine the extent of factual and creative cognitive content by finding the ratio. This method of calculating the ratio can be deduced from any literary text with animal representation, and this tool provides a stepby- step method for decoding and mapping those animal displays represented in literary works that are eluded in the field of Ethology.
