Abstract: A zero landfill waste management system, comprising plurality of IoT enabled waste collection units to receive municipal solid waste at geographical distribution locations, a plurality of sensors 104 to detect physical and chemical characteristics of deposited waste, an embedded microcontroller to acquire, preprocess and encode sensor data, a central processing unit operatively coupled to waste collection units through communication network to analyse received data using artificial intelligence protocols to predict waste generation patterns and optimize waste collection routing, a material recovery facility (MRF) 223 to receive and segregate mixed waste into recyclable, organic and residual fractions, at least one biological reactor 220 to convert organic fraction into biogas and digestate under controlled anaerobic conditions, plurality of reactor sensors to monitor operational parameters of the reactor, a water recycling module 221 to treat and reuse process water, and a waste-to-resource conversion module 214 to convert selected waste into composite structural elements.
