MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641101031 A) filed by Sri Eshwar College Of Engineering on August 20, 2026, for Young Adult’s Eco-Support System Theory.

Inventor includes Dr. R. Malathy.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: This theory proposes teenagers’ mental health recovery, determination, and self-realization are embedded in the ‘ecological context of influential relationships’ which fits with the microsystem and mesosystem of Bronfenbrenner’s theory. An understanding of this system approach can aid in strengthening the mentality of teens. If one system fails to function, automatically, it affects another. As a result, young adults may suffer from relational aggression, bullying, and peer pressure and it leads to their mental illness. To recover teenagers from their trapped disturbance, the Young Adult’s Eco-Support System theory limits two ecological layers: Micro and Mesosystem. These two layers find the solution especially their immediate social circle would be the saviors and also emphasizes the importance of vigilance and regular communication with young adults, especially during moments of crisis, to offer support and aid in their recovery from internal struggles. Additionally, mesosystem connects with microsystem and facilitates social, emotional, educational and developmental support to the young adults.
